3 days Chrysanthemum show started in Terrace Garden

Chandigarh: The chrysanthemum show started today in Sector-33’s Terraced Garden. The show will run for three days and was inaugurated by MP Kirron Kher today on the first day.
Like every year, this time also there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of the city regarding the Chrysanthemum Show. On the first day, a large number of people reached here to see the flowers. Everyone was seen taking selfies with beautiful flowers here. Although more crowds can gather here on Saturday and Sunday.
The Chrysanthemum Show will conclude on Sunday and the winners of the competitions held before the show will be felicitated. On Thursday, 679 entries were received from individual, government and non-government organizations here.
This year 270 varieties of flowers will be seen in the Chrysanthemum show. Last year there were 269 varieties. 10,000 pots of chrysanthemums have been displayed here. In this, 6000 pots of different varieties of chrysanthemum have been kept by the horticulture wing of the Municipal Corporation. While 4000 pots have also been displayed for the entry takers.
