Mohali: Mohali Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain IAS assumed charge at the District Administrative Complex today. A guard of honour was accorded to her on her arrival.
Taking the pledge to provide transparent and accountable administration to the people of the district today, Ashika Jain is a 2015 batch officer and had earlier served as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohali in 2020.
While talking to the media after taking charge as DC of the district, she said that she will give priority to the comprehensive development of the district and added all efforts will be made to ensure and maintain the law and order situation in the district at all costs and the government’s campaign against drugs will be intensified. Aashika Jain also emphasized that no corruption will be tolerated in the district.
