Akali MLA boycotts Presidential elections

Chandigarh: Akali Dal suffered a big blow when its Dakha legislator Manpreet Singh Aiyali boycotted Presidential polls and alleged that he and Punjabi people were not consulted before announcing decision to support NDA candidate Droupdi Murmu.
SAD leader also lashed out at BJP and said that it failed to work for welfare of Punjab and our party leadership also failed in this regard and demanded changes in party leadership as per Jhunda Committee report.
