Bhagwant Mann felicitates Punjabi Players winners of Commonwealth Games

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann felicitated 23 sportspersons of Punjab who represented the country in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games at Birmingham.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann felicitated all the players from Punjab who won medals and participated in the felicitation ceremony at Chandigarh.
It is pertinent to mention here that 23 players from Punjab participated in Birmingham, out of which 19 players won three silver and four bronze medals. Weightlifter Vikas Thak-ur, Men’s Hockey Players Manpreet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Akashdeep Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Ilardik Singh, Varun Kumar, Krishan Pathak, Shamsher Singh, jarmanjit Singh and Jugraj Singh, Women Cricketers Ilarmanpreet Kaur, Harken Deol and Tania Bhatia won Silver Medal while Weightlifters Ilarjinder Kaur, Lovepreet Singh and Gurdeep Singh and Women hockey player Gurjit Kaur won Bronze Medals. Apart from this, lasleen Saini participated in Judo, Navjit Kaur Dhillon in Athletics and Naman Kapil and Vishwajit Singh in Cycling.
