CBSE Class 12 results 2022 declared

Mohali: CBSE today has announced results of Class 12 board exams 2022.
Girls have recorded a better pass percentage than boys in CBSE Class 12 results 2022 as Girls had 94.54%, whereas Boys had 91.25% and Transgender had 100%.
There were proud moments for the families of students as Abhijay Duggal resident of Phase 2 student of Guru Nanak Public School, Chandigarh, Secured 97.6% marks in CBSE Class 12 Non Medical exams,
Vansh Gupta, resident Phase 2 student of Vivek High School, Sector 38, Chandigarh secured 95.8% Marks in CBSE Class 12 Commerce exams.
As per the report by sources a total candidates registered were: 1444341 out of which 1435366 appeared and 1330662 had passed with making Pass percentage: 92.71%.
Sources in CBSE said like previous years, there will be no merit list in CBSE Class 12 results but the board will provide certificates to students who have scored highest mark in different subjects
The region-wise pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 results is as follows: Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala has recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.83 per cent, Bengaluru: 98.16, Chennai: 97.79, Delhi East: 96.29, Delhi West: 96.29, Ajmer: 96.01, Chandigarh: 95.98, Panchkula: 94.08 , Guwahati: 92.06, Patna: 91.20, Bhopal: 90.74, Pune: 90.48, Bhubaneswar: 90.37, Noida: 90.27 , Dehradun: 85.39, and Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has recorded the lowest pass percentage at 83.71 per cent.
Over 67,000 students have been placed in compartment and CBSE sources said Class 12 compartment exams will be conducted from August 23 and on term 2 syllabus.
CBSE has also announced the class 10 results.
The overall pass percentage in Panchkula and Chandigarh regions stood at 95.38% and 96.33% respectively, as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 results on Friday. Both regions have recorded a higher pass percentage than the national average of 94.40%.
The Chandigarh region consists of Punjab, union territories (UTs) of Chandigarh, J&K and Ladakh, while Panchkula region covers Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
As per the state-wise results for Class 10 this year, UT Jammu & Kashmir has recorded the highest pass percentage in Chandigarh region at 99.05%, followed by Punjab (97.59%), UT Ladakh (91.59%) and UT Chandigarh (82.42%).
From Panchkula region, 96.26% candidates cleared the exams in Haryana and 96.94% in Himachal Pradesh.
