Civil Surgeon Inspects New MCH in Kharar Hospital

Mohali: Civil Surgeon Dr. Adarshpal Kaur today inspected the new building specially constructed for Maternal-Child Health Care (MCH) at Kharar Sub-Divisional Hospital and went to different rooms of the building and inspected the health facilities provided.
Dr. Adarshpal Kaur said that in view of the heavy rush in the Kharar government hospital, a separate building has been constructed for the examination, treatment and health care of pregnant women and new-born children in order to keep them separate and provided with standard health facilities and added that before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after delivery, the woman and the new-born child need special medical care and a comfortable environment, considering which this building has been designed. The work of providing health facilities especially to parents and children will be started soon.
While visiting the entire hospital, the Civil Surgeon visited various wards and specially inspected cleanliness and expressed satisfaction over the overall arrangements of the hospital and the health facilities being provided. CS Dr. Adarshpal Kaur also checked the attendance register of the staff and instructed the staff to attend duty on time and warned that dereliction of duty will not be tolerated at all & asked the entire staff including the officers to treat the patients and their relatives with compassion and love.
