Cobwebs of cables and wires laid haphazardly, poses threat in Mohali

Mohali: Concerned authorities in Mohali seem to have closed eyes towards the safety of residents, as clusters of cables and wires laid haphazardly on poles, trees and other structures can be seen almost on every pole in Mohali, but goes unnoticed by the elected representatives Municipal Councillors, Local MLA.
It is pertinent to mention here that these overhanging wires, cables are not permitted and are a threat to the safety of residents mostly the kids & senior citizens.
Residents added that a large number of electricity meters installed on a single electricity pole has also caused fear among the residents and alleged that high voltage electricity wires are hanging loose and pose a threat to them and added sending our children out of our home is also dangerous due to dangled wire of loose high voltage electricity wires.
Residents demanded that the concerned officials must show their seriousness towards citizen’s problems, But Who Cares????
