Cycle track get lights

Chandigarh: In order to provide a safe and secure pedalling for cyclists, especially woman and girls who return from work late in the evening, and with an aim to eradicate the dark spots on Sector 54 to Mohali Franco Hotel road stretch, Chandigarh Administration has made the stretch well lit by Fixing street lights.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the same column in yesterday’s edition the issue was highlighted.
Cyclists pedalling on the track called the team The Aman Sandesh Times and thanked Mr Rakesh Chauhan XEN Chandigarh Administration with whose efforts the work has been completed within hours of being reported.
The department has made the track well lit to ensure the safety of cyclists which is highly appreciable stated a lady cyclist, while adding we being a responsible citizens must know our rights and duties and put the efforts to get the things in order and must report rather than to ignore.
