Deputy Commissioner Mohali reviews the progress of work in district revenue department
Mohali: To review the progress of the work of the revenue department of the district, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Amit Talwar held a review meeting with the officials of the revenue department at the district administrative complex today.
During the meeting DC Amit Talwar, reviewed the functioning of the revenue department and directed the officers to settle the pending cases within the stipulated time.
Mr. Amit Talwar, Deputy Commissioner informed that during the meeting the officers were instructed that the people should not face any difficulty regarding the work of the Revenue Department and all the work should be done within the stipulated time.
During the meeting DC also directed that the cases of demarcation, division of private, criminal cases, non-disputed mutations, disputed mutations, private transfers etc. should be disposed of within the stipulated time and also directed the officers to check the records of the Patwaris from time to time so that there would be no negligence.
Deputy Commissioner has asked the officials to provide maximum online facilities to the people so that the work of the people could be done quickly and easily. Apart from this he asked the officers of the revenue department to ensure that all the officers settle the cases as per the set target. He also directed to expedite the recovery of miscellaneous arrears.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mrs. Amaninder Kaur, SDM Mohali Mr. Harbans Singh, SDM Kharar Mr. Ravinder Singh, SDM Dera Bassi Mr. Himanshu Gupta, District Revenue Officer and others officials were also present.
