GGSCW-26 celebrates Van Mahotsav

Chandigarh: VASUDHA, the Environment Society of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh, celebrated Van Mahotsav today by organising a Tree Plantation Drive, sponsored by the Department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration.
On the occasion, the Principal, staff and students of the College planted around 50 saplings of herbal and medicinal plants in the Herbal Garden of the College.
Principal Dr Jatinder Kaur especially emphasised the benefits and significance of commonly available and frequently used herbal plants.
