GGSCW-26 organised ‘Art and Aroma Therapy’ session to relive stress

Chandigarh : Departments of Psychology and Department of Fine Arts of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women co-organised a one-day workshop on ‘Art and Aroma therapy’.The workshop was inaugurated with the aroma therapy technique of massaging ittar and aromatic oils on the wrists in order to soothe the mind. The participants were then given the opportunity to de-stress and relax via the medium of Art by creating their own masterpieces with the help of oil paints, acrylics, poster paints and water colours. Students and faculty participated in the workshop with a great zeal while enjoying the meditative music in the background which provided an additional calming effect. The Principal, Dr Jatinder Kaur, alongwith the guest of honour, Ms. Pawittar Kaur (w/o Col. Jasmer Singh Bala, Secretary Sikh Educational Society) appreciated and lauded the efforts of the team.
