Chandigarh: The N S S Units of Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector-50 Chandigarh organized a rally as part of “Celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga” in the vicinity of the College Campus.
Chief Guest on the occasion Section House Officer, Sector 49 Police Station, Chandigarh, Mr. Jai Parkash Singh, also joined the college participants for Har Ghar Tiranga Celebrations with his force.
Chief Guest was welcomed to the college campus by N S S volunteers and the Dean of the College, Mr. Amarpreet Singh Sijher, the Vice-Principal of the College, Dr. V. Magesh, N S S Programme Officer (Girls), Ms. Vandana Jain and N S S Programme Officer (Boys), Mr. Ashutosh Sharma.
Chief Guest SHO Sector 49 Police Station, Chandigarh, Jai Parkash Singh addressed the volunteers and informed them about the importance of this movement, which happened to be the brainchild of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji after the speech, the rallyists, holding Indian National Tricolours in their hands and chanting Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga, Bharat Mata Ki Jai took a complete round of the area with the police officials and college staff members.
Nearly 50 volunteers of the college N S S Units participated in the event.
