Chandigarh: Cold wave continues to tighten its grip on the region, Chandigarh as per IMD reports was colder than Solan and Dehradun and was as cold as Dharamshala this Morning.
The City Beautiful recorded a temperature of 12 degree Celsius around 9 am this morning, which was the same as in Dharamshala. Solan was one degree warmer at 13 degrees while Dehradun recorded 16 degrees.
Kharar was the coldest in tricity with its temperature hovering at 11 degrees around 11 am this morning.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of severe cold wave conditions in Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab until Thursday.
Fog shrouded many parts of Punjab as intense cold weather conditions continued early this morning too.
Amritsar recorded its low at 5 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana’s minimum was 6.6 degrees Celsius.
Pathankot, Faridkot and Gurdaspur recorded their respective minimums at 7.2, 4.4 and 3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
According to a report of the Meteorological Department Narnaul, in Haryana, shivered at one degree Celsius, four degrees below normal.
