Chandigarh: Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh organised an interactive discussion with Mrs Charanjeet Kaur, Consultant-Clinical Psychologist, Hypnotherapist & Past Life Regression Therapist at MY Hospital. In her talk, she discussed at length about youth and the drug addiction pandemic. She highlighted the direct relationship between addiction, loneliness and comparison with peers and shared the remedy for the same which begins with developing self confidence and inculcating decision making ability.
In light of the upcoming International Women’s day, Mrs. Kaur also shed light on the topic of Gender discrimination which is still prevalent in our society. Even though females are mentally, physically and emotionally stronger and have extended their reach into the male strongholds, yet religion and social constraints do not allow them freedom in the true sense.
Principal, Dr Jatinder Kaur, thanked the speaker and lauded the efforts of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan team for organising such interactive sessions.
