Maintenance of parks continues to be neglected in Mohali

Mohali: Mohali is aspiring to become a smart city, unfortunately situation of the parks in Mohali continue to be in a poor condition due to lack of staff to clean the dry leaves and due to wild growth in Parks.
Residents added, “This is wastage of taxpayers’ money as they have not seen any one visiting in parks for cutting of the grass and even some parks have not been cleaned for the last many months and demanded vigilance enquiry behind the reason.”
Residents added, condition of parks was not up to the standards despite paying the taxes, as they have never seen anyone visiting parks opposite to their houses to water plants and trees , no one care to Clear weeds, litter, unwanted plants, thorny bushes, lawn caring and trimming of plants and trees. Application of pesticides, fertilisers has not even been applied/ sprayed in the parks. Who Cares???
