MCM holds session on Professional Skill Development

Chandigarh: The Career Counselling Cell of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Edu Corp, organised the introductory session of a workshop series on ‘Professional Skill Development’. The resource person for the session was Mr. Amit Hans, Founder Director, Edu Corp. The theme of the first session of the six session workshop series was personality development and it aimed at making the students aware about the qualities of good personality in the context of management. He discussed in detail about personality identification, locus of control, the role of learning and confidence. A personality test was conducted for the students and the personality traits were discussed on the basis of test scores. Mr. Amit Hans made the session very interactive and 95 students from various streams participated in the session.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava expressed appreciation for this highly relevant initiative of the Career Counselling Cell in this era where professional skills can make or mar a career. She motivated the students to make the most of such opportunities to learn from experts and provide an edge to their career.
