Senior citizens of Phase 9, Mohali took another initiative to install medicine donations box in park No: 10 behind PCA Stadium and request was also made to donate leftover unexpired medicines for treatment of poor and needy patients.
While talking to the team The Aman Sandesh Times senior citizens mentioned , that one of our senior member Brig. Dr. AS Kawtra provides free medical consultation in addition to free medicines, in association with senior citizens centre Lajpat Rai Bharat Chandigarh at Mata Sheetala Mandir, Village Beholpur .
Senior citizens added, that we are retired but not tired and we will keep on serving the society, this is our mission and added that timely taken medicines are helpful in easing pain, controlling blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, or curing an infection and requested other too to Please consider donating unused medicine and please do check expiry date before donating medicines and also avoid donation of near to expiry medicines.
