Mohali BJP leaders oppose Pb Govt’s new Excise policy
Mohali: Today Mohali District BJP leaders including Ashok Jha (District Secretary) Arun Sharma (District Vice President) Ramesh Verma (State Executive Member), Madan Goyal (District Secretary), Dinesh Sharma (District Treasurer), Sohan Singh (District Head SC Morcha), Hoshiar Chand Singla and Jatinder Goyal (Mandal Vice President) Samir Mahajan (District Media Incharge) Sahil Gill (Mandal General Secretary) criticised the new liquor and excise policy of the Punjab Government in a meeting held at Mohali.
BJP leaders said that the Punjab government has played with the Punjabis by taking decisions on liquor and excise policy.
BJP leaders said that by making liquor and beer cheaper in the state it would affect the youth of Punjab and the general public.
BJP leaders said it seems that Maan led AAP government in Punjab is going to promote drug addiction and reminded the AAP government of their slogan of making Punjab a drug-free Punjab before the election.
BJP leaders demanded that AAP govt should draft the policies to provide relief to the general public by bringing a good policy on health facilities, education, sand mining and employment to the youth. So that the younger generation could be helped to get out of drug addiction but unfortunately from this it seems that the Punjab government will run the state by selling drugs.
BJP Mohali leaders stated that they will strongly oppose the wrong policies of Punjab Government and leaders added if needed, they will protest by coming out on the streets.
