People oriented budget presented by FM, Punjab is on the path of development – MLA Kulwant Singh

MLA Kulwant Singh also appreciated the proposed an “initial allocation” of Rs 40 crore to “strengthen the infrastructure in the border districts of the state” and “for undertaking activities such as installation of CCTV cameras in areas close to the International Border; adequate lightening provisions; high-end vehicles for mobility, etc.”
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Raj Yuva Award has been revived. Two youths from each district will be selected and honoured with a medal, Rs 51,000 and a certificate.
Rs 3 crore was dedicated to sports equipment, and Rs 53 crore towards Sports University in Patiala.
In the year 2023-2024, 1 crore saplings will be planted so that the environment can be kept clean.

Mohali : Mohali Constituency MLA Kulwant Singh said that under the leadership of Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Finance Minister – Harpal Singh Cheema today presented the Budget which is people-friendly in true sense, and added that now, Punjab will be on a new path of development and it will lead to over all development of villages and cities of Punjab.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that people-friendly schemes are being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, since the Aam Aadmi Party government came into existence. Large number of people have got their treatment done from the Mohalla Clinics. Now people will not have to go far and wide for their treatment, nor will they have to spend lakhs of rupees as according to the new Punjab Financial Budget 2023-24, another 142 Mohalla Clinics are to be opened across Punjab.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that according to the financial budget 15 new industrial parks are to be developed, Rs 4 thousand 781 crore has been allocated towards for health services, Rs 39 crore for secondary health services, Rs 60 crore for students belonging to scheduled castes. Rs 258 crore for scholarship, Rs 258 crore for sports, Rs 64 crore for security forces, Rs 605 crore for animal husbandry department have been kept in the budget.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Maan, all MLA’s are fulfillg the demands by completing the development works of his constituency step by step.
