Mohali: BJP candidate from Mohali Sanjeev Vashisht during his election campaign visited Badmajra and stated if the Congress government had worked in the last five years, people would not have had to experience life like hell.
Due to the heaps of garbage in and around Badmajra, people are falling sick. Congress government MLA have forgotten to work for Mohali after the polls, this area is again an example .
BJP candidiate Sanjeev Vashisht was warmly welcomed by the people of Badmajra , where he listened to the problems of the villagers, people of Badmajra complained that the heaps of garbage can be seen everywhere and after repeated requests government is not doing to clear it.
Vashisht stressed, that in last five years Congress government, has done nothing for the proper disposal of garbage whereas roads the city have pits and potholes at many a places, drivers can be seen complaining about it even in the newspapers everyday.
BJP Candidate said people are waiting for roads to be built from years and added that former Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu is claiming that he has worked for the health but no one can witness his claims . He is only misleading the residents by false pretences.
Vashisht assured all the resident that after the formation of BJP government, under the sanitation mission run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the sanitation arrangements will be made for people to protect them from the deadly diseases. And all efforts will be made to keep the area clean and hygenic.
Sanjeev Vashisht was accompanied by senior BJP leader Sukhwinder Singh Goldy and former BJP councillor Ashok Jha and large number of people including Sita Ram Panch, Lal Mohan Sharma, Ramakant Sharma, Phulo Devi, Anil Kumar Guddu, Rohit, Angad Shah, Sunil Kumar were present on the occasion.
