Protest march held for the release of Bandhi Singhs

Mohali: Governments should give justice to Sikh community by releasing captive Singhs said Kalewal and Sohana.
On the invitation of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a protest march was carried out today from Gurdwara Amb Sahib Phase 8 to the office of Deputy Commissioner Mohali for the release of Bandi Singhs.
SAD District In-charge Parvinder Singh Sohana Shiromani Akali Dal, said that the demand for the release of Bandi Singhs has been demanded by the Sikh community since long time and added that Bandhi Sikhs are in jails even after completing the prescribed sentences, many times the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Chief Ministers of other states have been appealed for captivity but they are not being released seems that the community is being discriminated.
They demanded that the Sikh community should be immediately released by the Sikh community who are after the completion of sentence in jails.
Advocate Harmanpreet Singh Prince City President Shiromani Akali Dal, Harvinder Singh Nambardar, Lakhvir Singh were also present.
