Rural schools performed better than urban schools in PSEB class 10

Mohali: The Punjab School Education Board has announced the result of class 10. Girls have once again secured the top three ranks.
Gagandeep Kaur, a student of Sant Mohan Das Memorial Senior Secondary School, Kot Sukhia (Faridkot) secured 650/650 (100%) marks.
Navjot of Sant Mohan Das Memorial Senior Secondary School, Kot Sukhia (Faridkot) secured the second position by securing 648 marks (99.69%).
Harmandeep Kaur of Government High School Mandali (Mansa) bagged 3rd position with 646/650 marks (99.38%).
This year, 2,74,400 candidates passed the examination out of 2,81,327 candidates who appeared for the exam. The overall pass percentage is 97.54%. Rural schools have performed better than urban schools.
The Class 10 Board Exam for this year was held at various venues across the state from March 24 to April 20, 2023.
Varinder Bhatia, vice chairman PSEB also informed that students who want to fill re-appear, can fill the same from May 31 to June 14. The results of re-appear would be announced by July 17, he said.
The result will be uploaded at website https://www.pseb.ac.in and http://indiaresult.com. Candidates who have appeared for Punjab Class 10 board examination can check the results through the official site of PSEB at pseb.ac.in on May 27 at 8 am.
