Shemrock School celebrated Musical Soiree

Mohali: Children showcased their talents and skills as Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali organized Musical Soiree with pomp and show.
Vivek Atrey retired IAS officer, prolific writer, and voracious motivational speaker, graced the occasion as the chief guest and advised parents and teachers to be ideal role models for their children in his address.
The program started with the lamp lighting ceremony by Vivek Atrey retired IAS.
MD Karan Bajwa paid tribute to the Founder Director Kabir Bajwa by devoting the two running trophies namely the march past and athletics trophy respectively.
Principal Prineet Sohal while addressing the audience gave the details of previous year and also told future planning about games, education and extra-curricular activities.
Everybody was enthralled by eye catching performances of students. Parents remained seated to watch the performances of their loved ones. Chairman JS Bajwa while praising the efforts of students urged them to work hard and fulfilling their dreams.
The soiree was a delightful audio and visual treat as it encompassed all genres of music be it classical tabla, teenage core band with westernised hues of the instruments, qawwali and fusion of evergreen songs and the Punjabi folk songs.
