Chandigarh : Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Sunday said that the matter regarding threats being received by the MLAs has now been referred to the Special Task Force.
Earlier, former Chief Minister and the Leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha Bhupinder Singh Hooda had raised the issue of MLAs being receiving death threats during one week’s time. These include BJP MLA Sanjay Singh (Sohna), Congress MLAs Renu Bala and Surendra Pawar. Holding the coalition government responsible for the rising crime, Hooda had said that no one is safe in the State — neither the common man nor MLAs; while demanding proper security for all the MLAs.
Talking to journalists in Sonepat, Vij said that he himself is monitoring the case daily and the Special Task Force is moving ahead in the case. He said that all such threat calls are coming from abroad. Responding to a question regarding the miscreants who entered the Badli MLA’s house in Pataudi, he said that he himself has spoken to the MLA, Badli, Kuldeep Vats and also to the SP concerned along with DGP. He added that such miscreants will not be spared.
Responding to the query regarding Kavad Yatra, Vij said that this time we are registering all the Kawariyas, taking their mobile numbers from the concerned police station area from which the person is going to be registered and accordingly arrangements are being made.
