Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has demanded from the central government to withdraw the Electricity Amendment Bill.
SAD Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the purpose and said that there should be a discussion with farmers’ organizations of Punjab regarding the electricity bill.
The Akali Dal has demanded to refer the bill to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) where objections can be heard and resolved.
