There is no one to take care of these trees…

Chandigarh administration did not take lessons after the accident in Carmel Convent School.
Chandigarh: On July 8, a huge tree fell on the Carmel Convent School in Sector-9. An innocent girl died by being buried under this tree. That girl was only 16 years old. This tree, more than two hundred years old, had become very dilapidated. Even after this incident, the administration did not learn a lesson.
The condition is that not only the heritage trees in the city but also the rest of the trees are in dilapidated condition.
Many trees have been infested with termites, which are continuously hollowing them out. Neither the officials of the municipal corporation are paying attention to this nor the authority of the administration is taking any care.
Because of these trees, any major accident can happen in the city anytime. There are dozens of such trees on the central road in Sector-27, whose trunks have become hollow. There have been a lot of termites on these trees. This road is one of the busy roads of the city. Where these trees are planted, there is also a cycle track nearby.
In such a situation, these trees can fall on any driver at any time. The administration should take care of these trees in time.
