Tree plantation organised

Jhanjeri: NSS Wing of Quest Group of Institutions organized a tree plantation day named “Hariawal Quest :One Tree for Nation” at Quest Group of Institutions. The event was initiated by the Chief Guest Sh Prabhunath Sahi Sanjoyak Chandigarh Hariawal Punjab, Ex-Flight Engineer, Indian Air Force.
During the event several saplings of Pilkan, Guava, Shukhchain, were planted throughout the campus by the Guest, college staff and students.
The event was undertaken with the objective of promoting tree plantation- One Tree for Nation.
Addressing the students and faculty members of Quest Group, the Chief Guest said that everyone must use their education for the betterment of the society just like trees soothes the earth with its shades.
During the program Sh Brijmohan Joshi along with Sh Karan Golyal said that each students of the Quest group must plant at least one tree for the nation every year to make the earth a green planet.
The program was convened by NSS Volunteers Ms. Ramanjit Kaur, Mr. Manish Rathour and Mr. Lovepreet Singh and vote of thanks was given by Ms. Ramanjit Kaur.
The program was well attended by all faculty members Asst. Prof. Ms. Sanampreet Kaur, Asst. Prof. Ms. Poonam Rehal, Asst. Prof. Amandeep Kaur, Asst. Prof. Mr. Manav Gupta, Asst. Prof. Ms. Ramandeep Kaur, Asst. Prof. Ms. Rupinder Kaur, Asst. Prof. Satyakam Pandit, Asst. Prof. Manju Thakur and Asst. Prof. Arvind Pratap Singh, Students of BBA/BCOM/BCA (2nd Sem.), NSS Volunteers and other staff of the Quest Group.
