Waterlogging throws life out of gear

Mohali: Roads leading to Chandigarh from Mohali were waterlogged at several roundabouts early this Morning, with traffic moving at snail’s pace near Furniture Market chowk.
Rainwater made commuters’ life miserable with long snarls and delay since early morning. Several school buses were stuck, even school going kids were late due to traffic jam, said parents stuck in jam.
Mohali recorded 74.5 mm rainfall from 5.30 am to 8.30 am on Wednesday, flooding several low-lying areas.
Several parking lots and roads were full of stagnant water in Mohali markets.
