Chandigarh: It was the Fifth day of the Special 7 days N S S Camp at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector-50, Chandigarh today. The following activities were conducted on the fifth day of the 7 days special N S S Camp 2023:
All the campers gathered in front of the administrative block of the college and did prayer and moderate exercise, after this they took a round of Prabhat Feri. The theme of the Prabhat Feri was, “Gender Equality”. After the end of Prabhat Feri, all the groups moved into their allotted places for their designated activities. The three different trainings, which continued today were- Self-defence, Yoga and First Aid. One group of Campers was given exposure to “Importance of Sports and Atleletics through an Interaction, which was conducted by Dr. Sudesh Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor in Physical Education, D A V College, Chandigarh. After the training sessions, the students had their lunch.
During the last session of the day, the Participants attended a special interactive session on Disaster Management, which was conducted by the team of NDRF personnel headed by their Commander from Pinjore. The NDRF personnel demonstrated in detail all types of rescue operations which could be natural or man-made. After the session, the students prepared for their cultural items group wise. Thus, the Fifth day of the camp came to an end.
