Kapurthala, 9 Nov Late night in Kapurthala, firing took place outside the house of an NRI in village Kot Karar Khan. The police team has started the investigation, if the sources are to be believed, the accused who fired the shot have also dropped the ransom note. Which is not being officially confirmed. It is being told that 6 rounds were fired.
Last night around 11:30 pm, firing was carried out by some unknown persons outside the house of an NRI in village Kot Karar Khan. After which the police team of Sadar police station including DSP sub division Deep Karan reached the spot and investigated.
It is said that the NRI family arranged the marriage of some poor girls a few days ago. The video of which went viral on social media. This move was done after the same video. However, this is not officially confirmed.
Confirming the incident, DSP Sub-Division Deepkaran said that the firing is being investigated on the basis of enmity as well as many other points. He has not confirmed the ransom issue.
