New Delhi :
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has unveiled a progressive Human Resources (HR) policy aimed at adapting to evolving security challenges and improving work-life balance for its personnel. Replacing the 2017 posting guidelines, the new policy addresses the growing need for specialized skills and modernizes operational strategies.
Key features include the creation of a *Domain Experts Pool* in areas like cybersecurity, aviation security, and anti-drone solutions, along with *choice-based postings* for personnel to list preferred locations, enhancing flexibility for families. *Women and married couples* will benefit from better work-life balance options, while *retirees* will receive priority in posting locations. A *fixed timeline for posting orders* and an emphasis on *sports excellence* further support the well-being and development of CISF members.
This policy is set to impact over 98% of the force, ensuring its readiness to meet future security challenges while fostering a motivated and balanced workforce.
