THE AMAN SANDESH TIMES

Mohali :

Residents of Phase-2, Mohali, are living in fear after a recent stray dog attack on a young child, Pratham, who narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation. The incident occurred when Pratham was returning home from a Verka booth, a short distance from his home. The child was saved by a quick-thinking neighbor who intervened and pulled him away from the jaws of a stray dog.

Following the attack, the child was taken to Sector-16 Hospital, where the doctors prescribed three more injections to prevent further complications. The family was advised to visit the dog clinic in Sector-19, Chandigarh, for the required treatment.

Local residents have expressed growing concern over the increasing number of stray dog attacks in the area. They believe that the Municipal Corporation of Mohali has failed to address the issue despite repeated calls for action. Many are now questioning the authorities’ commitment to ensuring public safety and the well-being of the community.

The situation has prompted calls for immediate action from the municipal authorities to control the stray dog population and implement measures to prevent further attacks. Residents hope that the government will take their concerns seriously and act swiftly to address this rising threat.
