Chandigarh :
The Directorate of Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration, today released the Online Joint Prospectus 2025–26 for admissions to Government and Privately Managed Aided Colleges affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh. The prospectus was formally unveiled by Sh. Rajiv Verma, IAS, Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh, along with Ms. Prerna Puri, IAS, Secretary Education, and Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, PCS, Director Higher Education.
The admission process for the upcoming academic session has officially commenced, offering approximately 21,500 seats across various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. The number of seats available in undergraduate courses in government colleges remains unchanged from previous years:

Postgraduate (two-year) degree courses will also continue as per last year’s structure.
The prospectus contains comprehensive details about the admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and course offerings. It includes clear guidelines regarding the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020), particularly in terms of subject choices and credit allocation. Students applying for first- and second-year courses can now opt for Four-Year Undergraduate Honours/Honours with Research programs under NEP 2020 guidelines in Government Colleges.
The Joint Prospectus was designed and prepared by the Joint Prospectus Committee of PGGC-11, under the guidance of Mrs. Rama Arora, Principal, PGGC-11. The committee emphasized creating a student-friendly, informative guide to help applicants make informed academic choices.

Submission of admission forms for Non-Centralized and PG Courses:
13th June 2025 (Friday) to 4th July 2025 (Friday)
