Mohali :
A grand Kalash Yatra was organized today at Shri Radha Krishna Mandir and Dharamshala, Phase-2, Mohali, marking the beginning of the Shri Maha Shiv Puran Katha. The event was held to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the installation of the sacred idol of Siddh Baba Balak Nath Ji in the temple premises.
The Kalash Yatra began from the Gaushala and Gau Seva Hospital in Phase-1, Mohali, and proceeded through the surrounding areas before reaching the temple premises. Devotees, especially women from the temple’s Sankirtan team, participated in large numbers, dancing joyfully to the beats of traditional bands and chanting “Har Har Mahadev,” creating a deeply devotional and vibrant atmosphere.
Temple President Atul Sharma, along with his team, actively participated in the yatra. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma shared that the Shri Maha Shiv Puran Katha will be held from June 23 to June 29, 2025, within the temple premises. The Katha will be narrated by renowned spiritual orator and Mahamandaleshwar Shiv Yogi Tarun Tapasvi Shri Shri 1008 Swami Yamunapuri Ji Maharaj from Haridwar, every evening from 4 PM to 7 PM.
He further informed that a grand community feast (Bhandara) will be organized daily after the Katha. Sharma appealed to all devotees to attend in large numbers and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
