The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced a series of new welfare initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of its personnel and their families. A dedicated online welfare portal will be launched on September 1, enabling direct applications for loans, scholarships, and medical reimbursements.
Key Highlights of the New Initiatives:

Interest on personal loans reduced to 3%; medical loans at just 2%

Home/marriage loan limit increased from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh
 - 
DG Scholarship Scheme expanded:
- 
₹20,000 for students scoring 80% and above
 - 
₹25,000 for those scoring 90% and above
 
 - 
 - 
Scholarships for children of martyrs increased to ₹10,000–₹20,000
 - 
Retired personnel to receive ₹1.25 lakh as risk savings benefit
 - 
Special diet allowance during parades increased from ₹60 to ₹100 per day
 
A total of over ₹100 crore has been allocated for welfare activities under this initiative.
CISF has hailed these reforms as a “historic and transformative step for the welfare of the force.”
