
Mohali :
Mohali Police, under SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans, have arrested three men involved in multiple robberies and recovered stolen items including two gold chains, four mobile phones, an HP laptop, a dummy pistol, and a Nissan Terrano used in the crimes.
The arrests were conducted by the CIA team led by Inspectors Sourav Jindal, Talwinder Singh, and Rajan Parminder Singh, under Inspector Harminder Singh. The suspects were identified following a detailed investigation of a robbery on the night of November 25–26, 2025, in Sector-84, Mohali, where three masked men threatened victims with a pistol and stole gold chains, mobile phones, and a car (Nissan Terrano, CH01-CD-2202).
The arrested suspects are:
Gurvinder Singh alias Guri, 33, resident of Pind Powat, Ludhiana, educated up to 12th class, unmarried.
Bikram Singh alias Gora, 26, resident of Pind Powat, Ludhiana, educated up to 12th class, unmarried.
Harmanpreet Singh alias Gagna, 31, resident of Pind Powat, Ludhiana, educated up to 10th class, married, with prior cases of illegal liquor and narcotics.
Further investigations revealed the suspects committed additional robberies:
On December 6–7, 2025, they used a Nissan Terrano and a dummy pistol to threaten two individuals in front of Manav Mangal School, Mohali, and stole mobile phones.
On December 9, 2025, they threatened a couple near the railway line, Sector-81, Mohali, and stole an HP laptop.
Later on the same day, they extorted Rs 11,000 via Google Pay from another couple near Pind Chilla Manoli.
Police said the suspects used the dummy pistol and vehicle to intimidate victims. All three are currently in police custody, and further questioning is ongoing to probe additional incidents and recover more stolen property.
