108 Jyot Aarti Draws Large Gathering at Shri Radha Krishna Temple

A grand and spiritually uplifting 108 Jyot Aarti of Lord Shri Krishna was organised with great devotion at the Shri Radha Krishna Temple and Dharamshala in Phase-2, Mohali. The religious event witnessed a large turnout of devotees, turning the temple premises into a vibrant centre of faith and divine energy.
The programme began with Vedic chants, the blowing of conch shells and devotional hymns, creating a serene and sacred atmosphere. The lighting of 108 lamps, symbolising purity, faith and spiritual enlightenment, was the highlight of the ceremony and filled the temple with a divine glow.
Addressing the gathering, Pandit Durga Parshad Ji said that the 108 Jyot Aarti is not merely a ritual but a powerful spiritual practice that brings inner peace and divine blessings of Lord Shri Krishna, while spreading positive energy among devotees.
The temple was tastefully decorated with flowers and lamps, adding to the spiritual ambience. Devotees participated enthusiastically in bhajan-kirtan and aarti with deep reverence.
Temple President Atul Sharma said such religious programmes play an important role in strengthening the spiritual environment and collective devotion at the temple. He added that the aim is to develop the temple into a prominent centre for bhajans, seva and community worship.
The temple committee informed that a special 108 Jyot Aarti is organised every Monday and Thursday, inviting devotees to participate regularly and seek divine blessings. The event concluded with the distribution of prasad among devotees, making the occasion memorable and spiritually enriching.
