CM Health Scheme Gains Momentum MLA Kulwant Singh

Mohali :

Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh on Sunday said that the opposition has been left with no real issues to raise against the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government, as its promises are being implemented swiftly on the ground.

Speaking about the Chief Minister’s Health Scheme launched by the Punjab government, MLA Kulwant Singh said large-scale registration has begun across the state, including the Mohali Assembly constituency. He informed that more than 1,000 registrations are being carried out daily at CSC centres in Mohali. Chairperson of the District Planning Board, Engineer Prabhjot Kaur, was also present on the occasion.

The MLA said that over the past three-and-a-half years, people of Punjab have witnessed that whatever assurances are made by Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann are implemented without delay. He highlighted that government hospitals have been upgraded, a significant number of doctors, nurses and health workers have been recruited, and more than 1,000 Mohalla Clinics have been established, treating lakhs of patients every day.

Kulwant Singh said that with no substantial issues to raise, the opposition is resorting to making baseless statements merely to stay politically relevant. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, work is being done for all sections of society. Electricity bills have been waived, youth have been provided employment without recommendations, and now a ₹10 lakh Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme has been launched for the welfare of the people.

Appealing to residents, the MLA urged people not to panic or rush for registration, assuring that everyone will be registered in a phased manner. He said that apart from CSC centres, members of the Punjab Youth Development Board, party block presidents and other office bearers will also conduct door-to-door registration. People have been advised to carry Aadhaar cards and voter cards of their family members during registration.

AAP leaders Kuldeep Singh Samana, Rajinder Prasad Sharma, former councillor Jagdev Sharma, Gurpreet Singh Bains, Akwinder Singh Gosal and Jaspal Singh Mataur were also present.
