MLA Randhawa Flags Off 18th Bus Under Chief Minister’s Scheme

Mohali : Constituency MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa flagged off the 18th bus under the Punjab government’s “Mukham Mantri Tirath Yatra” scheme from Ward No. 17, Village Isapur, today. The bus will transport pilgrims to various religious destinations in Amritsar.
A large gathering of elders, villagers, and local representatives attended the event to see off the pilgrims. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Randhawa extended his best wishes to all participants and highlighted the benefits of the scheme. He noted that the initiative is designed to provide convenient travel opportunities for elderly citizens and others wishing to undertake religious pilgrimages. “The main objective of this scheme is to make it easier for the elderly to visit pilgrimage sites and fulfill their religious faith without difficulty,” Randhawa said. He emphasized that the program reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to supporting the spiritual needs of its citizens and enhancing their quality of life.
MLA Randhawa also prayed for a safe and peaceful journey for all devotees, invoking divine blessings for their wellbeing. He urged pilgrims to observe discipline and follow travel guidelines to ensure a smooth trip.
The “Mukham Mantri Tirath Yatra” scheme, launched by the Punjab government, has been widely appreciated for enabling citizens, particularly senior citizens, to visit religious places with comfort and ease.
