On the third day of the Chandigarh Youth Football League for the State Championship, Saffron Arrows FC delivered a dominant performance in the Under-15 Boys category, defeating Uttarakhand FC 13-3. Tanush and Harman starred for the winning side, scoring five goals each. Tanush netted in the 3rd, 9th, 10th, 12th, and 13th minutes, while Harman scored in the 25th, 26th, 34th, 36th, and 47th minutes. Riyaz added two goals and Kalash one, while Anant, Anmol, and Amit scored for Uttarakhand FC.
In other Under-15 matches, Sandhu FC thrashed Himalayan FC 7-1, with Aarav Thapa scoring a hat-trick and Ambar contributing two goals. Banyan Tree FC edged Vivek FC 2-1, while St. Stephen’s FC beat Velocity FC 2-1.
In the Under-13 category, Tribune FC defeated Blue Star FC 1-0, and Saffron Arrows FC secured a 3-0 win over Vertex FC. Sandhu FC recorded their third consecutive win, overcoming 3BRD FC 7-5. St. John’s FC defeated Himalayan FC 3-0, while matches between Banyan Tree FC and Sai Baba FC, and Royal Greater FC and Vivek FC ended in 0-0 and 1-1 draws respectively. Rajeshwar FC beat St. Stephen’s FC 1-0, and Burail FC defeated United FC 4-1.
The matches showcased thrilling performances and emerging talent, keeping fans excited on the third day of the championship.
