Kejriwal after AAP’s defeat in Haryana: “Elections not to be taken lightly, never be overconfident”

The Aman Sandesh Times

New Delhi : Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, stated that the most significant takeaway from the Haryana election results is the importance of avoiding overconfidence. He encouraged party members to diligently prepare for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, which are expected to take place next year.
“Elections are approaching. Elections should not be taken lightly. The biggest lesson from today’s election is to never be overconfident. Every election, seat is tough,” Kejriwal said while addressing AAP municipal councillors in Delhi.
Kejriwal called upon the AAP municipal councilors to concentrate on securing victories in the upcoming elections, stressing the necessity of unity within the party.
“We must exert ourselves diligently. Infighting must be avoided. Your contributions will be vital in this election, particularly as we are engaged with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The public has fundamental expectations, such as maintaining cleanliness. We must uphold cleanliness in our respective areas. If we achieve this, victory in the elections will be within our reach. Our primary objective must be to secure electoral success.”
The assembly elections in Delhi are anticipated to take place in early 2025. In the 2020 assembly elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats, while the BJP managed to secure eight seats.
