Preparations for Dussehra fair, a symbol of the victory of good and evil, are complete: Kuldeep Singh Samana

Mohali : Mohali Kala, Culture and Welfare Club (Reg:) is organizing a Dussehra fair tomorrow, Saturday, October 12, 2024, about which people of the area are showing great enthusiasm.
Regarding the Dussehra Mela being celebrated in the park in front of MT International School at Sector 79 Mohali, Club President Kuldeep Singh Samana while talking to the media said that the organization of the Dussehra Mela is a symbol of good over evil and a call for mutual brotherhood. This time it is being done at Sector 79 and keeping in view the religious faith and spirit of fellowship of this festival, all preparations have been completed and jalebis on the fair ground.
Shops have been decorated by pakodas and other shopkeepers, Club President Kuldeep Singh Samana and General Secretary Phoolraj Singh – State awardee while answering the questions of journalists said that the statue of Ravana is 100 feet and the other statues are 80 and 70 feet, while the fourth Effigy – associated with social evils, corruption and drugs, which will be blown up. And the purpose of erecting these effigies is to send a message to the society that badi is burnt in the same way and this custom has started long and will continue for a long time, so that a meaningful message can be given to the young generation, with journalists. While talking, General Secretary Phoolraj Singh said that this Dussehra Mela is being organized under the supervision of Chief Coordinator Paramjit Singh Chauhan, Councilor Sarabjit Singh Samana and Club President Kuldeep Singh Samana with the inspiration of MLA Kulwant Singh, and this is special. Care will be taken that the people coming from all over the area to see the Dussehra Mela do not face any kind of problem, for this the duties of the office bearers and workers of the club have been assigned, on this occasion Dr. Satinder Singh Bhavra, RP Sharma, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Numdar Harsangat Singh Suhana, Surinder Singh Roda Sohana, Harmesh Singh Kumbhara, Gurmukh Singh Sohal, Akwinder Singh Gosal, Jaspal Singh Mataur, Harpal Singh Channa, Amit Jain, Dr. Ram, Gobindar Mittal, Rajiv Vasist , Harpal Singh Brar, Gurpal Singh Grewal. Om Prakash was also present.
