MLA Kulwant Singh Launches 13th bus under CM Teerth Yatra Scheme

Mohali : Under the Punjab Government’s Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme, MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh flagged off the 13th bus carrying pilgrims from Gurdwara Nanak Darbar, Sector-91, Mohali on today.
Speaking to the media, Kulwant Singh said that the devotees will complete their pilgrimage in three days and two nights before returning to Mohali. He highlighted that the initiative, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, ensures complete arrangements for travel, accommodation, and safety of the pilgrims.
The MLA added that each bus is accompanied by a medical expert and a guide to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience during the journey. He said the scheme has been receiving an overwhelming response, with people enthusiastically registering for the yatra in their respective constituencies.
Kulwant Singh further stated that the government is committed to continuing the scheme so that no devotee is deprived of the opportunity to undertake the pilgrimage.
He also shared that many pilgrims personally express their satisfaction after returning, appreciating the arrangements made under the scheme.
Thanking Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party Supremo Arvind Kejriwal for launching the initiative, the MLA said the scheme reflects the government’s commitment to public welfare. On the occasion, Constituency Coordinator and State Awardee Phoolraj Singh noted that there is great enthusiasm among devotees, who are also encouraging their friends and relatives to register for the yatra. Prominent attendees included Phoolraj Singh, Surinder Singh Roda (Sohana), Avtar Singh (General Secretary, RWA Sector-74), Sher Singh (President, RWA Sector-74), Baldev Singh Kang, Ajmer Singh Sohana, Gurdev Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Gurnam Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Nihal Singh Virk, Gurdeep Singh Tiwana, Bachittar Singh, Amarjit Singh, Sukhwant Singh, and Jagdish Singh.
