Mohali : A grand graduation ceremony was at Shamrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali, to mark the successful transition of Class 5 students from primary to middle school. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm, with parents, teachers, and students coming together to commemorate this important milestone. The began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the students’ grandparents, symbolising the blessings of knowledge being passed from one generation to the next.
The ceremony was filled with emotional and joyful moments as students reflected on their journey through the primary wing.Adding a special touch to the event, the school coordinator presented a melodious graduation song, taking everyone down memory lane. The Vice House Captains also shared their experiences and cherished memories through heartfelt speeches, expressing gratitude to their teachers and parents for their constant support and guidance.
During the ceremony, class teachers felicitated all graduating students by presenting them with graduation certificates on stage, marking their successful completion of the primary level. The proud smiles of students and parents highlighted the significance of the occasion.
Following the ceremony, an orientation session was conducted by the coordinator for both parents and students.
The session provided insights into the middle school curriculum, expectations, and the new academic environment that students will soon be a part of.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman A.S. Bajwa expressed pride in the students’ achievements. He said that stepping into middle school is a significant milestone and emphasised that the institution is committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also strong moral values among students.
Principal Parneet Sohal congratulated the students on their progress and encouraged them to embrace upcoming challenges with confidence and curiosity.
She expressed confidence that the students would continue to excel in the next phase of their educational journey.
