Kulwant Singh Flags Off 22nd Bus Under Teerth Yatra Scheme

Mohali :

Under the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana launched by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh flagged off the 22nd bus carrying 42 pilgrims from village Saneta.
The bus will take the devotees on a religious tour covering Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Durgiana Mandir, Ram Tirth Valmiki Mandir, Wagah Border and Jallianwala Bagh.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh said that since the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government, Punjab has witnessed all-round development and various public welfare schemes are being implemented at a fast pace. He said the pilgrimage scheme is helping strengthen social harmony and providing an opportunity for people to visit important religious and historical places.
He added that large numbers of people are registering for the scheme through zonal in-charges, and health insurance cards under the Mukhyamantri Health Insurance Scheme (covering up to ₹10 lakh) are also being issued through ward-level camps.
