The district health department has announced revised summer OPD timings for all government health facilities, effective from April 16.
As per the new schedule, OPD services across government hospitals, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), and clinics in the district will now be available from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
At Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Phase 6, OPD timings will be 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Registration counters will open 30 minutes before OPD hours to ensure smooth patient flow. However, emergency services will continue 24×7 without any change.
The Civil Surgeon Office and other administrative offices will maintain their regular working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Officials said the revised summer schedule will remain in effect from April 16 to October 15, after which winter timings will be implemented from October 16.
Residents have been advised to follow the new timings and plan their hospital visits accordingly.
