Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organized a grand farewell event titled “Hasta La Vista 2026” for outgoing graduate and postgraduate students, featuring vibrant cultural performances and celebratory activities.
Students showcased energetic performances including Bhangra, Gidha, and Western dance, while a “Memory Lane” video and skits highlighted their college journey and experiences with faculty.
Titles and awards
The event featured a title ceremony where Loveleen Kaur was crowned Miss Gian Jyoti PG and Charles was named Mr. Gian Jyoti PG. Other winners included Vanshika Soni (Miss Elegant), Manpreet Singh (Mr. Handsome), and Abigail (consolation prize).
In the undergraduate category, Siddharth was named Mr. GJMT and Ishani was crowned Miss Gian Jyoti, while Gargi, Keshav, and Mannat also received titles and recognition.
Honouring rural partners
Sarpanches from villages adopted under the ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ were also honoured for their contribution to social welfare initiatives.
Institutional message
Chairman J.S. Bedi said the institute aims to develop not just graduates but responsible leaders, while Campus Director Dr. Aneet Bedi encouraged students to stay focused and confident in their future endeavours.
