Mohali :
The process of issuing Chief Minister Health Insurance Cards has been expanded to Aam Aadmi Clinics in Mohali city to make the facility more accessible to residents.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. H.S. Cheema and Dr. Parminderjit Singh said that on the directions of the Punjab Government, citizens can now get health insurance cards made closer to their homes and avail cashless treatment benefits of up to ₹10 lakh.
They informed that the service, earlier available at the District Hospital Mohali, has now been extended to Urban Primary Health Centres in Phase 1, Phase 7 and Phase 11. In addition, special camps are being organised daily at various locations to facilitate card registration.
Officials urged residents to take advantage of the scheme and get their health insurance cards made at the earliest to ensure access to free treatment under the government health programme.
