Mohali :
A tree pruning and cleanliness drive in Phase-2 has brought relief to residents after years of concerns over overgrown branches and poor maintenance in the area.
Social worker Arvinder Kaur initiated the drive after highlighting the long-pending issue of unattended trees, personally overseeing the pruning work and cleanliness efforts in the locality.
The initiative has improved safety for pedestrians and vehicles by clearing hazardous overhanging branches and enhancing the overall environment of the area.
Residents welcomed the step, saying the action has made the neighbourhood cleaner and safer, and expressed hope that such maintenance work will continue regularly.
Locals also appreciated the timely intervention, noting that effective action can bring visible improvements when undertaken with genuine intent for public welfare.
