Mohali :
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major boost in Mohali as more than 75 families joined the party at a gathering in Sante village under the leadership of MLA Kulwant Singh.
The new members joined the party under the influence of senior leader Harpal Singh Brar and local representative Gyan Prakash. MLA Kulwant Singh welcomed the families and assured them that their concerns, including issues related to drinking water, would be addressed on priority.
He said the AAP government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been working without discrimination for all sections of society, including farmers, traders, labourers, and industrialists. He highlighted welfare initiatives such as 600 units of free electricity, Mohalla Clinics providing free treatment and tests, and a new ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme.
Kulwant Singh also said the growing public support reflects satisfaction with the government’s policies and development work. He added that he would continue to remain accessible to people and work towards resolving their issues.
The event was attended by several party leaders and local representatives from Guru Nanak Colony and surrounding areas.
